I'd chosen the oboe for its complex and beautiful sound after attending a concert the summer before I began high school. I practiced and practiced that first semester, but I couldn’t figure out how to play more than two good notes in a row.
Georgia helped me unlock my potential by making special lesson plans and exercises just for me. Now, I’ve been accepted into the New York University Symphony, thanks to the amazing experience I had at Harrington Oboe School of Vermont.
