Yoga Studio Alternatives

Feasibility Report
Do or do not; there is no try. Wise words from a fictional science fiction character, but which embody the purpose behind any good feasibility report. Before committing to a course of action, someone—a technical writer—is responsible for figuring out if it can and should be done.

The situation: Can an Arizona State University (ASU) student with a limited schedule find a yoga studio other than the campus recreation center that offers a wide range of classes at a reasonable price? Answer: yes, and yes!

After conducting in-depth research by visiting websites and making calls, I determined a set of four criteria weighted using a decision matrix: price; distance from campus; class type and schedule range; and ease of use. The final feasibility report included an executive summary that clearly outlined the situation, an introduction and method section to convey how the conclusion was reached, and a detailed results and conclusion section that highlighted a clear "winner."

My extensive research, in-depth analysis, and clearly written breakdown resulted in a detailed and effective feasibility report detailing the most desirable alternative to campus yoga classes.
